Trans-affirming care
I believe people when they tell me who they are. Names, pronouns, and identities are respected—always. Gender may evolve or remain steady over time. However it shows up for you, it is honored here.
Queer experience
I have worked with trans, non-binary and gender-queer people since beginning my clinical work in 2015. I support folks of all ages with different relationships to gender—people who are questioning, exploring, settled, shifting or somewhere between.
For some people, gender is central to our work together. For others, it’s simply one part of a much larger picture. I follow your lead.
Much of what informs my work comes from listening closely to trans people and integrating lived experience with clinical training. I approach this work with humility and accountability, and I view it through a trauma-informed lens that recognizes how systemic harm, medical gatekeeping and chronic invalidation affect mental health and nervous systems.
Letters and advocacy
I provide letters in support of gender-affirming medical care for adults 18 and over in alignment with WPATH Standards of Care. For many people, this is the primary reason they seek me out, and that is welcome here.
Letters are often completed in a single session. I’m also familiar with navigating insurance systems, clarifying when letters are required and naming concerns when medical requirements feel misaligned. When appropriate, I’ll share this knowledge to help you move through these systems with more clarity and support.
Pre- and post-operative care planning is often a key part of supportive gender-affirming care. We can take time to talk through what your body, emotions and support systems may need before and after surgery. I want you to leave with greater clarity, tools for self-care and a sense of what comes next.
